Checking Your Leadership Temperature
- Who initiates spiritual growth in your family? In other words, who says, “Let’s pray, let’s have a devotional time, what are you learning lately?
- Who handles the money? That doesn’t mean the man has to pay all the bills, do the accounting, etc… It does mean that the man is intimately involved with the financial aspect of the household and makes the difficult decisions about finances.
- Who disciplines the kids when both are home?
- Who initiates talking about problems or big issues in the home? If the wife is the one that continually says, “We need to talk about….” then she is feeling the moral weight and responsibility.
- Who asks the most questions and who gives the most statements The person who asks the most questions is the one who holds the moral weight of the home.
